The Associa-Med (Association of Interns and Students of the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis) was founded in 1989. It is a non-governmental, non-profit organization whose main goal is to strengthen the active and effective participation of students. Associa-Med became a full member of the IFMSA (International Federation of Medical Students ’Associations) in 1999.
